Why use Neem Oil? These natural homemade dog shampoo bars feature neem oil, which is especially helpful at repelling fleas and treating a variety of skin complaints.
Why use Lavender, Citronella, and Eucalyptus? Citronella has antifungal and antibacterial properties, helps treat acne, and repels insects. Lavender Essential Oil calms and soothes the skin, has anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties, and promotes relaxation. Eucalyptus essential oil is a natural flea repellent and also cools and relieves irritated skin associated with flea bites, dermatitis and other skin issues.
For best results, apply directly to the coat of the wet pet, really working the shampoo throughout the hair of the pet down to the skin. Then thoroughly rinse out the coat. Apply a second lather as just described for a squeaky clean groom.
