  • Description

Milk creates a luscious, gentle, skin-loving bar of soap. This intermediate soap class is designed to teach students how to make soap using milk as the water substitute. We're working with the assumption that participants have some knowledge of the cold process method, although we will review soap making safety.

The objective of this class is to have students understand the properties of different types of milk they can use in making soap. Students will be able to choose goat's milk or coconut milk and will make a 1# loaf to cure and cut from home.

An apron, gloves and safety goggles will be provided for use during the class and to take home.  Bring a mask if it makes you feel more comfortable. Wear closed toe shoes and long sleeves. Soap making can be messy, so dress accordingly.

Participants must be 18+ years old.

Class will be closed 24 hours prior to the time listed.

Classes will be held at Deb's Oils: 2202 Bonanza Dr.  Sachse, TX 75048
