Cold Process Soap ONE ON ONE

You determine DATE  AND TIME: This beginner's soap class is designed to teach a private lesson (one on one) to make soap by hand at home. The main focus of this class is the "cold process" soap making method although the class does briefly describe other methods of crafting soap. After learning soap making safety, you are taught to formulate soap recipes using a "lye calculator." The objective of this class is to make sure you understand the basic values of making soap from 'scratch' and be comfortable creating your own soap recipes at home. You will make cold process soap during the class session and leave with a 1# loaf to cure and cut from home.

Safety equipment will be provided for use during the class.  Bring a mask if it makes you feel more comfortable. Wear closed toe shoes and long sleeves. Soap making can be messy, so dress accordingly.

Participants must be 18+ years old.
